A woman who was ejected from an SUV and died following a crash on Ohio 118 north of Greenville has been identified.
Melanie Morrow, 42, of Union City, Indiana, was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday morning, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency crews responded around 6:40 a.m. to the crash at the intersection of Ohio 118 and Childrens Home-Bradford Road.
Deputies said a Hyundai Sonota traveling east on Childrens Home-Bradford Road ran a stop sign and slammed into a Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Morrow, who was driving the Chevy, was ejected. She was not wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
The driver of the Hyundai, Klinton Knapke, 29, of Fort Recovery, was not injured.
This is Darke County’s fourth fatal crash in 2018, according to the sheriff’s office.
