Overnight: It will be dry with some clouds around overnight with temperatures falling into the middle 20s by daybreak, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Winds will relax slightly, but wind chills remain in the teens.
Thursday: Clouds thicken quickly with more snow showers developing in the afternoon. A brief mixing with rain is possible. Snow totals are expected between a coating to ½-inch, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. It will be a blustery and chilly day with wind gusts as high as 30 mph and high temperatures in the upper 30s.
Friday: Sunny and chilly through the afternoon with highs in the lower 30s.
Saturday: Sunshine and some clouds but another chilly day with highs in the lower 30s.
Sunday: Lots of clouds around as a storm system passes by south of the region.
“This system is still days away and the exact track will be monitored as any shift in the track could alter our forecast drastically,” Vrydaghs said. Highs will be in the Middle 30s.
Monday: Lingering clouds and chilly with highs in the upper 30s.
