Missing Springfield woman, 87, is located; statewide endangered alert ends

UPDATE @ 9:22 p.m.: The statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been canceled as Geraldine Raino, the focus of the alert, has been found safe.

The 87-year-old Springfield resident has been located in Warren County and her family is on the way to get her, a Springfield police lieutenant said.

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for an 87-year-old Springfield woman last seen leaving her home Friday morning.

Geraldine Riano suffers from dementia and has a history of getting lost, therefore law enforcement is concerned for her safety.

She left her residence on Willis Avenue about 10 a.m. and has not returned.

She is described as 5-feet and 120 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes.

Ms. Raino is believed to be driving a black Hyundai Elantra bearing license tag CP15MT.
