A record daily snowfall was set at Dayton International Airport on Sunday, said News Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek.
The airport recorded 2.7 inches of snow Sunday, which breaks the previous record of 2.5 inches set in 1898, he said.
This winter remains the fourth snowiest winter on record in Dayton, with 48.1 inches so far.
Clouds and some sun are expected Tuesday, March 4. It will warm up to highs in the mid-20s by the afternoon, Wirdzek said.
Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs reaching near freezing later in the afternoon. STAFF REPORT
