Stabbing in Dayton involves large fight, possible home invasion, sgt. says

UPDATE @ 11:50 p.m.:

The stabbing that happened Saturday night in the 4000 block of Hoover Avenue involved a large fight and possible home invasion, according to Sgt. Robert Clingner with the Dayton Police Department.

Clingner also said individuals are being interviewed at this time.

This incident is currently under investigation.

FIRST REPORT:

A stabbing was reported Saturday around 6:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of Hoover Avenue.

A male was reportedly stabbed in the head by a suspect who left in a gray Sedan in an unknown direction, according to Montgomery County Regional dispatch.

The suspect is described as a male with a thin build and left side nose piercing wearing unknown clothing and brown Timberland boots, dispatch said.

Medics and crews are still on scene at this time.
