Driver fled scene of crash on U.S. 35 near Gettysburg, roadway all clear

UPDATE @ 7:07 p.m.:

The scene of the crash on U.S. 35 near Gettysburg has been cleared and traffic is back to normal.

Although there was an initial medic request for injuries of children and at least one adult, dispatch was unable to confirm if anyone was taken to the hospital in the crash.

INITIAL REPORT:

An SUV has reportedly flipped over near the Gettysburg off-ramp on US 35 westbound.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch reported that there were children injured in the crash.

Scanner traffic indicates at least one adult injured as well.

The driver of the car fled from the scene, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Traffic cameras show that the two right lanes of US 35 westbound are blocked off near the crash.

The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m.
