An 18-year-old driver will be cited after the vehicle they were driving went off the roadway and caught fire in Miami County Saturday morning.
Sheriff’s from Miami County say the teen was traveling north on Wildcat Road and reportedly blew a stop sign near Ross Road, causing the vehicle to crash onto private property.
Authorities say the vehicle spun, continued into a tree-line, hit a fence, and then caught fire.
Crews responded to the fully engulfed vehicle around 5:40 a.m., per initial reports.
The driver was not injured and will be cited for failure to control and failure to stop at a stop sign.
