In each case, the victims had their car keys stolen from their coats inside a locker at the gym, according to incident reports.
Deputies noted in their report that Centerville Police also had several thefts at LA Fitness in their city. We’ve reached out to Centerville Police for the reports from their cases.
In one case, a victim came out to his car and found a man inside the driver’s side. The person ran and got into a black SUV and drove off. The victim said he didn’t recognize the man.
In the other case, the victim came out to find his car unlocked and his wallet, Fossil Watch and driver’s license missing.
Deputies are hoping to review surveillance footage at the business today.
