The accident was reported about 11:15 p.m. It’s not immediately known if there were any injuries.
According to the Dayton Power & Light online outage page, 2,608 customers in Montgomery County were without power just after 11 p.m. Service was restored by the 1 a.m. estimated restoration time, according to the web page.
Dayton Fire Station 18, in the 200 block of South Smithville Road, and was among those customers affected by the outage. The station’s bay doors wouldn’t open because there was no power, according to initial reports.
