The video, posted to Facebook, shows police surrounding a man near Burkhardt and South Garland avenues in Riverside after a pursuit ended in a crash Sunday afternoon.
The suspect, who was later identified as Adam Cottrill, 26, of Huber Heights, was shot with less-lethal rounds by police and was taken into custody, investigators said Sunday.
The type of weapons used were not specified by police.
The incident started as a report of a suspicious person with a gun at the Spinning Road Kroger.
Police said Cottrill later fled the area in a car, leading officers on a pursuit. During the pursuit shots were exchanged between Cottrill and officers, police said.
The pursuit ended in a crash at Burkhardt and South Garland avenues and Cottrill was later taken into custody.
He remains booked in the Montgomery County Jail and is being held on a probation violation.
Charges connected to the incident are still pending.
