An Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for all counties in the Miami Valley from noon Friday through 8 p.m. Saturday. Make preparations for dangerous conditions in which heat exhaustion or heat stroke are possible.

DETAILED FORECAST
Overnight: Partly cloudy, mild and muggy conditions are expected overnight with temperatures falling to a low around 70 degrees, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Patchy fog will develop by morning, and dense spots are possible.

Thursday: Some early morning fog in spots is likely, then it will become partly sunny and hot. Temperatures climb to a high in the lower 90s. The heat index will rise to around 100 degrees. There is a slight chance of a stray afternoon or early shower or storm, but most will remain dry.

Friday: It will be partly cloudy, hot and humid. Highs will be in the mid-90s, but it will fell like the lower 100s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and hot with highs in the mid-90s. The heat index will rise into the low 100s. There's a slight chance of a few pop-up storms.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot again to start the new week with highs in the mid-90s. The hear index will rise into the low 100s. A few afternoon storms are likely.
Monday: Mostly sunny, warm and muggy with highs in the middle 80s. A few showers and storms are possible.
