A Warren County deputy only suffered minor injuries in a crash that happened after another driver turned in front of him.

The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on Ohio 48, just north of the Interstate 71 overpass, said Sgt. Jacques Illanz of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash.

The deputy, whose name was not released, was traveling south when another vehicle in the opposite direction turned left in front of him to get onto southbound I-71, Illanz said.

The other driver was not hurt, but the deputy was taken to Bethesda Arrow Springs in Lebanon.

“He’s OK,” said Lt. Ron Day of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, who added that the deputy had been treated and released from the hospital.
