Wright State University student Kevin McCaffrey works with Sophia Sbita on June 14 at United Rehabilitation Services (URS) in Dayton. Sophia is in URS’ Preschool Program. WSU students from the school’s Adapted Physical Education & Recreation Program provided a six-week inclusive phys-ed program for the children and adults with disabilities at URS. Under the direction of Dr. Beth Hersman, the students developed activities using special adaptive equipment that URS secured through grant funding to provide an interactive experience for the clients.
