Woman identified in deadly Shelby County crash

A woman who died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 274 in Botkins has been identified.

Angela M. Fitzgerald, 52, of Sidney died from injuries at Miami Valley Hospital, said Police Chief Tom Glass.

Three other people injured in the crash were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Late Thursday morning, a Dodge Stratus heading west on SR 274 failed to stop at the intersection at County Road 25A, according to police.

The Dodge was hit by a Honda SUV going south on County Road 25A.

Fitzgerald was the front passenger in the Dodge.

Myron Parke Jr., 69, of Sidney, was driving the Dodge with Amber Yingst, 33, of Minster as a passenger in the back seat.

Casey Guisinger, 22, of Botkins, was identified as the driver of the Honda.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
