WSU contract worker collapses at Starbucks in campus library, dies

FAIRBORN -- (UPDATE @ 10:02 p.m.) The Wright State University contract employee for food services, who collapsed at a Starbucks in the Dunbar Library on campus, is presumed to have died of a heart attack, said Seth Bauguess, the university's director of communications.


A worker at Starbucks inside the Paul Laurence Dunbar Library at Wright State University died tonight after suffering an apparent medical problem, said Seth Bauguess, WSU’s director of communications.

The incident was reported shortly before 7 p.m.

The coffee shop on the lower level of the library is closed, but the library remains open, Bauguess said.

WSU Hospitality sent out a tweet about the closure: “Starbucks in Dunbar Library is closed for the remainder of the evening due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
