Miamisburg firm to sell part of land at new HQ site, move Dayton jobs

A Miamisburg-based business is planning to build a larger headquarters and move jobs from Dayton after buying nearly 20 acres intends to sell more than a third of that land, according to its president.

Staco Energy Products Co. has 19.5 acres on Technical Drive in Miamisburg for a 95,000 square foot facility as it merges Miamisburg and Dayton operations. But the company expects to sell about 7.9 acres of that tract, Staco President Jeff Hoffman said.

The company now headquartered at 1229 Byers Road plans to invest about $7 million for a new site at 2425 Technical Drive as it triples the number of jobs it has in Miamisburg.

Records show the manufacturer of power equipment has about 22 employees in Miamisburg. It plans to move about 45 to 50 more positions there, Hoffman said

The new headquarters would bring the closure of a Gaddis Boulevard site the company has operated in Dayton for decades, he said.
