Adkins said that 75 Logistics is planning to build a 600,000-square-foot distribution facility that could accommodate a regional distribution company. He said the project is being built speculatively with no current tenant committed to the building.
As part of the project, the sanitary sewer line must be extended and the total cost of the extension is $392,236, he said. Adkins said the developer would cover $304,107.46 of the cost and the city would cover $96,941 of the project’s cost, which includes a 10 percent contingency.
Shelby Quinlivan, city spokeswoman, said the city is choosing to extend the sanitary sewer line for future development opportunities.

Council is expected to vote on approving a development agreement with 75 Logistics LLC at its Sept. 18 meeting.
Since the completion of the Salzman Road extension, which takes truck traffic from Middletown directly to Ohio 63 in Monroe and provides easy access to Ohio 4 and Interstate 75, the interest in the area from developers has continued to increase.
