Sojourner Recovery Services will double the capacity at one of its women’s treatment facilities in response to community needs, according to organizations officials.
In partnership with the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services Board, Sojourner Recovery Services has expanded its women’s program, which provides residential treatment services to area women with drug or alcohol addiction.
“We are excited about adding more residential treatment beds,” said Maria Laib, executive director of Sojourner Recovery Services. “The expansion will have a positive impact on our community by providing greater access to addiction treatment for women in need, and will further our initiative to save more lives.”
Sojourner Recovery Services did not specify how many residential treatment beds it was adding.
Sojourner Recovery Services serves Butler, Preble, Warren and Clinton counties, as well as other areas in Ohio. Walk-ins and referrals are welcome for assessment from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at 1430 University Blvd. in Hamilton.
