DNC 2016: President Obama, Joe Biden headline tonight’s speakers

Wednesday’s events come one day after Hillary Clinton became the first woman to be the presidential nominee of a major American political party.

Scheduled to speak tonight at the Wells Fargo Center — where the theme is “Working Together” — are:


  • President Barack Obama
  • Vice President Joe Biden
  • Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine
  • Congressman GK Butterfield and members of the Congressional Black Caucus
  • Congresswoman Judy Chu and members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus
  • Civil Rights leader Jesse Jackson
