Police are looking for owner of the snake, WCCO reported. And after posting on social media, police officials had to issue a correction. They had not found a python after all, but a Colombian red tail boa constrictor, the television station reported.
"Don't we have egg on our faces?" department officials tweeted. "I know this, regardless of what it's called I wouldn't be picking it up!"
We’ve been informed this is actually a colombian red tail boa constrictor. Don’t we have egg on our faces? I know this, regardless of what it’s called I wouldn’t be picking it up! pic.twitter.com/kxyIE0mHwm
