The little girl who lost her police officer mother has finally gone home from the hospital wearing a an inspirational onesie that could bring a tear to your eye.
Olivia Ruth Orozco was released from the hospital list week after being born premature. She wore a shirt that said "Keep Calm and Kerrie On," KLKN reported.
Oliva's mother, Kerrie Orozco was the Omaha, Neb. police officer who was gunned down the day she was scheduled to begin maternity leave for Olivia. She had answered a call to help a fellow officer. The suspect was also killed in the gunfight, The Associated Press reported.
Orozco postponed her leave as Olivia stayed in the hospital's prenatal care unit. Her police department has set up a donation site to help support Olivia and her family. You can visit the site here.
