What do you do when you're stuck on a plane that's delayed and you're starving? If you're the pilot you call a pizza place and see if they'll deliver to you on the tarmac.
That's exactly what happened on a Delta flight Tuesday that was scheduled to fly from Philadelphia to Atlanta. It was stuck in Knoxville, Tenn. for several hours after bad weather in Georgia prevented them from landing, The Daily Mail reported.
A baggage cart served as the delivery vehicle and the flight attendants were the delivery people.
Passengers, despite being stuck for hours, were happy for the unusual inflight service and of course went to social media to share the experience.
The flight finally arrived in Atlanta three hours late, The Daily Mail reported.
Delta also held impromptu plane pizza parties on flights from Ohio, Illinois and Mississippi, The Daily Mail reported.
