A missed appointment with a local rental store led to disturbing discovery.
Taijuan Littleton is being credited with saving the life of a child after the 4-year-old's mother died at family's home.
Littleton, who is an employee at Rent-A-Center, was there for an appointment with Shaleena Hamilton, WIVB reported.
Hamilton was found dead. Apparently, she had a blood clot, fell and broke her neck.
Her son, Bryan Allen, 4, was home with her for two days before Littleton arrived.
Allen is said to have thought she was sleeping.
He is now staying with relatives and is doing well, WIVB reported.
