The large chocolate diamond weighed in at 1.52 carats, KLRT-TV reported.

The state park is known for its diamond finds and encourages tourists to hunt for the stones.

More than 33,000 diamonds have been found at Crater of Diamonds since it opened as a state park in 1972, according to the park's website.

The 40.23 carat "Uncle Sam" was the largest diamond ever found in the United States and was mined at the park in 1924. The 16.37-carat Amarillo Starlight, the 15.33-carat Star of Arkansas and the 8.52-carat Esperanza were also unearthed at the park.
