The band added that the donation, made through the Fall Out Boy Fund, "will help support the local food banks, direct monetary support for those who have suffered loss of income and jobs as a result of COVID-19, and much more."
As of Wednesday morning, Illinois had reported 13,553 coronavirus cases and 380 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. At least 9,509 of the cases and 249 deaths occurred in Cook County, where Chicago is located.
