Oklahoma-born country music star Joe Diffie died Sunday from coronavirus-related issues, according to his Facebook page.

In a Friday Instagram post, the Grammy Award-winning singer said he was being treated for the virus, which had infected about 665,000 people worldwide and more than 124,000 in the United States by Sunday morning.
