Vince is a natural fit in the Eagles since he is a former member of ’70s rock act Pure Prairie League, in addition to being a huge country star. He even contributed his version of “I Can’t Tell You Why” to the 1994 tribute album, “Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles,” which won the CMA Album of the Year trophy and also led the Eagles to reunite for their own “Hell Freezes Over” live album and tour.
