Cubs fan dies after falling from pole celebrating World Series win

A man who fell from a light pole last week celebrating the Cubs World Series win died Monday.

Kyle Leeney, 21, fell from a light pole outside a sports bar. Video of the Nov. 2 incident was posted to Twitter.

He was taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

The County Medical Examiner's Office has not certified the death, so the exact cause of death is still not known, according to the Iowa Press-Citizen.

 Leeney was a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Iowa, according to the Press-Citizen.
