It was an exciting night for best actress Academy Award winner Frances McDormand.

Not only did she take home her second gold statuette Sunday night, someone had the guts to steal it during one of the ceremony’s after parties.

A rep for McDormand told CNN that a person walked off with her award during the Governor's Ball.

A person was arrested shortly after for taking an Oscar, but LAPD would not say if it was McDormand's, CNN reported.

Variety is reporting that the person in question was identified as Terry Bryant and he was charged with felony grand theft. His bail was set at $20,000.

Bryant had posted live video of himself holding an Oscar during the Governor's Ball to social media, Variety reported.

During the video, he claimed it was an award for music.

After the short split, McDormand took her statue to a Los Angeles icon -- In-N-Out burger.

Her rep told USAToday, "Fran and Oscar are happily reunited and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together."
