As playoff fever grips Houston, the Texans are focusing on Sunday’s AFC divisional playoff game at Kansas. But several players had pizza on their minds and surprised third-graders Tuesday at a Houston elementary school.
Blackshear Elementary School officials declared Tuesday as "Texans Day" and allowed students to wear their favorite gear of the AFC South champions, KTRK reported.
Third-graders got a bigger surprise when Texans players Justin Reid, Tyrell Adams, DeAndre Carter, Buddy Howell, Taiwan Jones and Peter Kalambayi dropped in for a pizza party, the television station reported.

The players posed with students and played games, handing out high-fives to the students, according to KTRK.
The Texans (11-6) won their first playoff game in six attempts when they edged the Buffalo Bills 22-19 in overtime Saturday. They will face the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, at 3:05 p.m. EST.
