The Pantagraph reported that the flamingos are located at the front of the zoo by the entrance. Before the death of the injured bird, there were 25 flamingos in the exhibit.
“This was a truly unfortunate accident, and we are working with the juvenile's family to move forward,” Tetzloff said.
The zoo opened the flamingos exhibit in June 2016.
