Kim Kardashian, Kanye West welcome 4th child

Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, have welcomed their fourth child.

“He’s here and he’s perfect!” Kardashian West said Friday in a Twitter post announcing the birth.

“He’s also Chicago’s twin,” she added, referring to the couple’s third child, who was born last year. “I’m sure he will change a lot, but now he looks just like her.”

Unidentified sources told TMZ the child was born via surrogate Thursday, weighing 6 pounds and 9 ounces. The child's name was not immediately announced.

Kardashian West was supposed to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday alongside her sister, Kourtney Kardashian. However, Kardashian said her sister had to skip the appearance because her surrogate had gone into labor.

“She’s at the hospital,” Kardashian said.

Kardshian West had in January confirmed reports that she and her husband were expecting another child in an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

In addition to half a dozen cousins, the newest West will join two sisters, 5-year-old North West and 1-year-old Chicago, and brother Saint, 3.
