According to "Entertainment Tonight," West and the couple's children contributed $1 million to nonprofit organizations in honor of Kardashian West's 39th birthday, the reality TV star tweeted late Monday.
"I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye for me the most amazing bags," Kardashian West wrote. "But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!"
The money went to Cut 50, the Buried Alive Project, the Equal Justice Initiative and the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, according to a photo that accompanied the post.
