The Associated Press spoke to the Emergency Management Agency, which said that there are no immediate reports of damage and no risk of a tsunami.

The USGS also said that there was low risk to the people of Puerto Rico, saying there was a “low likelihood of casualties and damage.”

Most people on the island would have felt “light” shaking, USGS said, with a smaller population only feeling “weak” shaking.
