Howard appeared in a Broward County courtroom Monday morning, WSVN reported. He was granted a $3,000 bond, which is pending, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
Howard's arrest came the day the Dolphins upset the New England Patriots 27-24 in the regular-season finale for both teams. Howard, who made the Pro Bowl in 2018, has been on injured reserve since Oct. 29 and was not with the team during Sunday's game, WPLG reported.
“We are aware of the situation and currently gathering information," the Dolphins said in a statement. "We will have no further comment at this time.”
