An escaped kangaroo was found Thursday morning in a Florida neighborhood after several days of searching.
Storm, a 4-foot marsupial, escaped from the home of Eric Westergard, where he lived with six other kangaroos.
Westergard, who is permitted to own exotic animals, has raised the 5-year-old kangaroo since he was an infant.
More than a dozen Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers, state troopers and local law enforcement officials, as well as drones and a K-9, were used in the search for Storm.
More details about Storm’s capture were not immediately available.
