Jermiya ran outside and was last seen around 7:30 p.m., when she was sent to bed, sparking a search that included 20 St. Petersburg police officers, a helicopter and tracking dogs, WFLA reported.
She was found safe, sleeping beneath the cover, about four hours later, police said.
Police said they hed checked the grill earlier but believe Jermiya got scared and hid under it later, WTVT reported.
