Brown, 31, and the driver allegedly argued over the delivery price, and police contend Brown damaged the driver's truck by throwing rocks at it before retreating into his home and refusing to cooperate further, WFOR reported.
When asked by the Miami TV station during his surrender if he wanted to comment on the charges, Brown's attorney, Eric Schwartzreich, said, "I've advised him not to. He's innocent of these charges. Hopefully we'll get bond tomorrow and he'll be acquitted of all charges."
Brown is expected to appear in court this morning for a bond hearing, WFOR reported.
A sixth-round draft pick, Brown joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010. He was traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2019, but never played in a regular season game. He then signed with the New England Patriots but was cut after playing in only one game while the NFL probed sexual assault allegations brought against Brown by a former trainer, ESPN reported.
