Nonprofit replaces stolen trike for man with Down syndrome

A man with Down syndrome whose bike was stolen will soon be getting a new one.

Jeffrey Croteau, 37, rides his a blue adult tricycle with his father every Sunday. On Friday morning, it was snatched from his father's truck outside the welding shop where he works.

Liam Nation, which works to help families and friends facing the challenges of Down syndrome and autism, has purchased a new three-wheel trike and plans to deliver it to the Croteaus Wendnesday. The nonprofit was founded on behalf of a young boy named Liam Kynff, who has Down syndrome and autism.
