Although Millie, 94, had never skidded down a slip 'n slide, it was her idea to get staff at the Oaks at Northpointe to set one up, the Zanesville Times Recorder reported.
Millie, whose full name is being withheld for privacy, was one of about 30 residents in their 80s and 90s who slid across the slick plastic atop an inflatable duck.
The facility offers various other activities that might not be expected at a nursing home including overnight camping trips, car shows and other residents' requests.
"I can't wait to see what's next," Millie told the Times Recorder.
