Oklahoma children hold hands in adorable photo while sheltering from storm

Storms across Oklahoma Friday afternoon sent many people into shelters and led to one sweet moment in Tahlequah.

Brandy, a teacher in Tahlequah, tweeted a photo to FOX23 Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott on Friday showing two young children holding hands as they took shelter from the storm.

“A kind friend. My [kindergartners] were courageous today,” she wrote.

The children’s hands can be seen poking out from behind coats and backpacks where they appear to be sheltering in cubbies. She explained in further tweets that the cubbies are secured to walls in a reinforced concrete hallway.
