Earwood told WLOS, "We were raised in church our whole life. In marriage, that's the first step in our life together, so we wanted to start with a prayer to make sure the first step in our marriage was for God."

The photographer put Earwood on the steps and kept the bride around the corner.  The photographer's wife helped their hands find each other.  As soon as the couple touched, they both started crying. In fact everyone who witnessed it started crying, even the photographer trying to take the photo.
