A pilot was intoxicated when his plane left the runway and hit a shed at Melbourne International Airport Wednesday, officials said.
Christopher Hall was arrested Wednesday night. Hall bonded out of jail Thursday after posting $4,000 bail.
Hall's Cessna Skymaster 337 came to rest against the small building off of one of the airports taxiways.
Officials said he and his son were inside the small plane when it hit the building.
"Skymaster 32 Mike, I haven't given you any instructions of any kind sir. Hold your position, refile, your IFR flight plan and call me when you're ready for it and ready to taxi," an air traffic controller says to Hall.
They were not injured.
"Would you return to your hanger and call the tower please sir?" said the air traffic controller.
Hall is being charged with reckless operation of an aircraft while under the influence and child neglect.
