Police in Texas are asking for the public’s help reuniting a family with an urn found recently at a Goodwill in Lubbock.
The urn holds the remains of Rosa Linda Padilla, who died between 1997 and 1999, police said Sunday in a social media post. Padilla had been cremated in Edgewood, Texas, at Whispering Pines Cremation Services Inc., according to officials.
“Unfortunately, due to changes in ownership over the years, records are not available from Whispering Pines,” police said. “Please help us return Ms. Padilla’s remains to her family!”
