"Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Joe and Teresa Giudice have separated after 20 years of marriage, People reported.

Teresa Giudice has not yet filed for divorce from her husband, who was recently deported to Italy after spending five months in a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center, E! Online reported.

The couple said they are focused on their four daughters, Gia, 18; Gabriella, 15; Milania, 14; and Audriana, 10.

Joe Giudice and Teresa Giudice "agreed they each had to move on," People reported, citing an anonymous source. The source also said the couple were splitting "amicably and very slowly," the magazine reported.

Teresa Giudice, 47, and Joe Giudice, 49, were childhood sweethearts and were married in October 1999, according to People. They have been living apart for four years.

Joe Giudice began serving a 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in March 2016, the magazine reported. Teresa Giudice served a little over 11 months in prison for the same crime and was released Dec. 23, 2015.
