According to KIMA-TV, Michael Murr, 29, is facing a second-degree child molestation charge in connection with the incident, which took place Wednesday at the Yakima store, police said.
The 12-year-old victim told officers that Murr approached him in the bathroom while the boy washed his hands, authorities said. The man then "offered to zip up" the boy's pants, KIMA and the Yakima Herald reported. When Murr put his hands in the child's underwear, the boy pushed him and fled, police said.
Authorities arrested Murr, who was convicted of first-degree child molestation in 2010, according to the Yakima County Sheriff's Office.
