4 dead after hostage standoff at California veterans' facility; gunman was decorated Army vet

A hostage situation at a veteran’s facility in California’s Napa Valley ended in tragedy with three hostages and the gunman dead, according to multiple news reports. The victims were identified as Dr. Jen Golick, a therapist at the Pathway Home; Dr. Jennifer Gonzales, a psychologist; and Christine Loeber, Pathway’s executive director. The shooter was identified as Albert Wong, 36, of Sacramento.
