Could this be another case like Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan or was it only an accident?

South Korean figure skater Lim Eun-soo accused U.S. skater Mariah Bell of intentionally slashing her leg with her skate as the two prepared for the world championships, NBC News reported.

Lim’s management said she was warming up at the International Skating Union World Championship in Saitama, Japan, Wednesday. Her spokespeople said she was on rink’s edge “as much as possible as to not interfere with other skaters.”

Lim's team said Bell kicked Lim in the left calf and that she was cut, needing treatment by the staff at the rink, Straits Times, in Singapore, reported.

All That Sports, Lim's team, accused Bell of bullying their skater for months and asked the Korea Skating Union to file the formal complaint, NBC News reported.

The International Skating Union announced Thursday that Bel did not deliberately kick Lim, The Washington Post reported.

"Based on the evidence at hand at this point in time, which includes a video, there is no evidence that Ms. Bell intended any harm to Ms. Lim. The ISU met with delegates from both (the) USA and Korea and urged both parties to find an amicable solution. The ISU maintains this remains the appropriate approach," the ISU said in a statement.

Both Bell and Lim train under Rafael Arutunian, the Post reported.
