The Houston Texans paid tribute to former President George H.W. Bush before Sunday’s NFL game against the Cleveland Browns at NRG Stadium.
The teams and thousands of fans observed a moment of silence in honor of Bush, who was known as a big Texas sports fan.
The Bushes were often spotted at Texans games, and fans loved it.
"Everybody enjoyed seeing him. He always got a rousing applause. We'll be sad not to see him out there anymore," Texans fan Carrie Schadle told KPRC-TV.
Bush died Friday evening at his home in Houston at the age of 94. His wife, Barbara Bush, died earlier this year in April.
