Texans honor former President George H.W. Bush with moment of silence

The Houston Texans paid tribute to former President George H.W. Bush before Sunday's NFL game against the Cleveland Browns at NRG Stadium.

The teams and thousands of fans observed a moment of silence in honor of Bush, who was known as a big Texas sports fan.

The Bushes were often spotted at Texans games, and fans loved it.

"Everybody enjoyed seeing him. He always got a rousing applause. We'll be sad not to see him out there anymore," Texans fan Carrie Schadle told KPRC-TV.

Bush died Friday evening at his home in Houston at the age of 94. His wife, Barbara Bush, died earlier this year in April.
