Park rangers located and evacuated Martin Edward O'Connor, 58, via helicopter around 10 a.m. Thursday, CNN reported.
According to park officials, O'Connor had not been seen since Dec. 22, when his six-day stay at the Yavapai Lodge on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon concluded.
KTAR reported O'Connor, of La Porte, Texas, is undergoing medical evaluation but is listed in stable condition.
